I won’t bore you with info about how I started making photographs or the cameras I own and what my favorite types of film are, you didn’t come here for that. You came here to learn about who I am and hopefully to determine if i’m the right photographer for you; I can help with that!
I am 34 years old, married to the beautiful love of my life! We live with three girls in the Germantown neighborhood of Louisville. The girls that live with us walk on four legs and are actually two dachshunds named Cali and Zoe and a terrier named Gracie. They’re our life and as much like children to us as they can be. The only real difference is that we can go to the store and leave them home alone; try that with a child!
I am originally from Louisville, Kentucky but have lived as far away as Boston, MA and spent about 10 years across the river in Southern Indiana. I’m so happy to be back living in the city! I have an incredible love for Louisville; while i was away i could only think about what a wonderful place full of unique and creative artists, extremely courteous people and beautiful rolling hills i was missing out on. Kentucky is like no other place I’ve ever traveled; most Kentuckians will stop and hold the door for anyone and are more than happy to strike up a conversation about how they built their deck or the status of their tomato garden… all of which while sitting at a green traffic light. I strongly believe in contributing to your community to keep a sense of locality wherever you may be.
If you’ve gotten this far you know I am a wedding photographer but I also do portrait sessions of all kinds; babies, dogs, seniors, kids, families, etc. I enjoy photographing local bands, street portraits and the beauty in the everyday life that often passes us by. I have spent time donating photographic services to the Humane Society and the Louisville AIDS Walk.
Being a wedding photographer is a blast; your photographer is the only vendor you will interact with for your entire wedding day so it’s important to pick a fun one! I include an engagement session in all my packages so we can get past the “get to know yous” and be better relaxed on the big day. Also, all packages include full day coverage so I can capture everything! From the salon to your makeup, bridal portraits, formals and the ceremony until you leave the reception… i’ll be there!
